Josu Martinez received his MSc in Computer Science degree from University of Deusto (Spain) in 2002. Between 2002 and 2007 he worked as a software engineer developing various heavyweight server-side enterprise applications.
In 2007 he received the MSc in Advanced Software Engineering degree from University College Dublin (Ireland). His increasing interest in gaining more knowledge in Autonomic Computing, a fairly new multi-disciplinary field which goal consists on providing complex systems with the capability of self-manage their own operation, lead him to start also in 2007 a PhD program in University College Dublin.
Josu is now a PhD student at the IT Univerity of Copenhagen. There, he is working in a novel software component self-assembly technique in distributed and highly evolving environments. This technique combines state-of-the-art methodologies from the main areas of interest for Josu: software engineering, formal methods and software composition.
