LAJUG Talks

Using Java for VLSI Development and/or Advanced Open Source Java Software Engineering

This talk briefly summarized how software is used in VLSI development, some of the challenges inherent in such correctness- and performance-oriented development, and some of the solutions for such scenarios.

The talk is available in three formats: DVI | Postscript | PDF.

Note that this document is supposed to be in A4 landscape, not letter format. We used the Prosper package for LaTeX for this presentation. Prosper is an extension of the Seminar package and supports generating modern, hyperlinked PDFs with transitions. Unfortunately, the intermediate Postscript file is not guaranteed to render properly in all Ghostview front-ends.
